We are looking for a highly skilled Oncology Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) & National Field Trainer (Field-Based). This will be a contracted role, and the ideal candidate will be responsible for managing their own dedicated Territory along with supporting the Client’s overall Oncology Training initiatives. This role will be cross-collaborative with internal stakeholders (Training, Sales, Market Access, etc.) and other cross-functional stakeholders, as applicable, to drive successful Training initiatives across the entire Oncology ARM business unit, while maintaining their own dedicated territory.

The Oncology ARM & National Field Trainer will be an integral part of the Access & Reimbursement team with a primary responsibility to manage their own dedicated territory while ensuring continuous learning and development for field and field management including supporting on-board training, coordinating with Client’s training department, future development and continuous improvement.
The Oncology ARM & National Field Trainer will work closely with the Client’s leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders to support and achieve the overall mission of the Client’s training development plan.
- Manage a dedicated ARM territory to support the Client’s Oncology Portfolio.
- Manage daily activities that support appropriate patient access to our Client’s products in the provider offices and work as a liaison to other patient assistance and access support services offered by our Clients (i.e. HUB, Call Center, Specialty Pharmacy Services).
- Act as an extension of the Client’s HUB, as appropriate and provide in-person customer visits.
- Participate in Client meetings as appropriate. Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings and calls. Input call activity into customer CRM, as appropriate.
- Serve as a payer expert for defined geography and able to communicate payer changes to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Act as the National Field Sales trainer to support the Client’s training needs. Those needs may include field rides, content development, non-product related activities, onboarding, ongoing and continuous learning and development, POA management, securing new and engaging materials as it relates to Oncology, Best Practices for HCP Office engagement and overall territory management.
- Maintain any training policies and procedures, as dictated by the Client.
- Ability to travel with ARMs, across the US, as needed.
- Support in Compliance field rides, as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects across several different workstreams
Desired Job Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree required
- 5+ years of experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry to include: Training, Market Access, Field Sales Leadership, Field Reimbursement or other roles that are relevant to training development and account management.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Oncology and/or Rare Disease products with complex patient journeys, including multi-disciplinary care and high-touch services. Launch experience a plus.
- Significant experience in combination therapy regimens, particularly those involving doublet and triplet therapies.
- Prior experience working within payer reimbursement environments, navigating claims approval processes for complex therapies.
- Experience with patient support programs and services that extend beyond the drug itself, such as diagnostic testing, eye exams, or other co-therapies, is highly desired.
- Experience delivering educational presentations in person and/or via technology platforms such as Zoom, Webex, and/or Teams.
- Advanced knowledge of medical insurance terminology.
- Knowledge of Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) policies and processes with expertise in Medicare (Part B – for buy & bill products and Part D for Pharmacy products).
- Ability to manage ambiguity & problem solve.
- Prepare and submit appropriate expense reports in a timely fashion.
- Prior field training experience including application of adult learning principles to optimize training
- Ability to travel, per the job requirements.
